WHAT WE DO
GICA selects investment projects in the areas and sectors eligible to generate emission reduction in accordance with the Kyoto Protocol.
GICA negotiates ERPAs and purchase the CO2 Credits (CER or ERU) to be delivered during the project's lifetime.
GICA manages the portfolio of contracts in order to minimize the risk of non delivery and shortage of CO2 credits.
GICA does not invest in equity of the selected projects, however is available to provide support the development of the CDM/JI Procedure.
